The model was made and rendered in Lightwave 9.3. I used Modo 401 for my work now.

modo is the best, I have just gotten to grips with it, and love it, could not design with out.

I used 2 "large" area lights, both set at 50% intensity, quality 5, because I wanted to create a soft defuse shadow, they were positioned about 45 degrees from each other. The global illumination was set to backdrop only, with a medium gray backdrop colour.
